Independent Work Permit

This is a special type of permit designed to support entrepreneurship in Türkiye, allowing foreigners to work independently and on their own behalf without being affiliated with an employer.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Within the framework of the International Labor Policy, factors such as the foreigner's education level, professional experience, the contribution of their investment to the economy, and their job creation capacity are meticulously examined by the Ministry.
  • 3+ Exemption Opportunity: For foreigners who have legally resided in Türkiye for at least 5 years or are married to a Turkish citizen, the process of obtaining an independent work permit can be completed more easily thanks to certain exemptions.
