Family Residence Permit
This type of permit is issued for the spouses and children of Turkish citizens or foreigners residing here with legal permission.
Who is eligible for it?
Family residence permit, for the "Supporting" person (Turkish citizen or legally permitted foreigner):

To his/her foreign spouse,

To his or his spouse's foreign child under the age of 18,

It can be given to the parent's or spouse's dependent child who is over 18 years of age.
Requirements for the Sponsor:
Total income must not be less than the minimum wage, and the per capita income in the family must not be less than one-third of the minimum wage.
They must have valid health insurance covering all family members.
They must not have been convicted of crimes against family order within the last 5 years.
Must have a current address registered in the address registration system in Türkiye.

Application Process
01. Online Registration
The application form is completed via the e-Residence system.
2. Document Preparation
All required application documents are prepared, organized, and compiled into a complete file.
3. File Submission
On the day of the appointment, you go to the institution in person with the prepared file.
4. Evaluation
The file is reviewed, and if there are any deficiencies, an additional 30 days are granted.
5. Result
If the result is positive, the card is printed and sent to the address via PTT (Turkish Post).

Frequently asked questions during the residence permit application process:
If you have resided with a family residence permit for at least 3 years, you can switch to a short-term residence permit after divorce. If it has been less than 3 years, the permit may be revoked, except in exceptional circumstances such as domestic violence.
If it is determined that the marriage was entered into solely for the purpose of obtaining a residence permit (a fake/arranged marriage), the residence permit will be revoked and legal proceedings will be initiated.
Yes, for children under 18, a notarized or consular-certified consent form obtained from abroad is required.
No, holders of tourist residence permits cannot support family residence permits. They must possess a work permit or other valid type of permit.
