What is the 3+ Exemption?

If you have legally resided in Türkiye for at least 3 of the last 5 years, you are exempt from the "5 Turkish employees" and "Financial sufficiency" requirements. This allows you to work as a courier with a sole proprietorship.

P1* Authorization Certificate

The P1* license fee will be higher in 2026, but an 85% discount will be applied for those applying with a maximum of 3 motorcycles.

By starting your own company

(Independent / Company Partner) You will obtain a P1 certificate by establishing a limited company or (if the conditions are appropriate) a sole proprietorship.

(Motorcycle Rental Method) You fall under the P1 category by renting your own motorcycle to the company you work for or by using the company's motorcycle.

  • Is a Work Permit Required? Yes. It is illegal to work as a courier with a tourist visa or student residence permit.
