Required Documents

  • Application form A completed and signed form via the e-Residence system.
  • Biometric Photo 4 photos taken within the last six months, against a white background.
  • Address Document Notarized rental agreement, title deed or residence certificate obtained from the population registry office.
  • Fee Receipts Receipts proving payment of the residence permit fee and card fee.
  • Passport Original passport and copies of the identification/transaction pages.
  • Health Insurance A valid health insurance policy covering the duration of your stay.
  • Financial Sufficiency A statement/document proving that you have sufficient and regular financial means for the duration of your stay.

Application Process

01. Online Registration

The application form is completed via the e-Residence system.

2. Document Preparation

All required application documents are prepared, organized, and compiled into a complete file.

3. File Submission

On the day of the appointment, you go to the institution in person with the prepared file.

4. Evaluation

The file is reviewed, and if there are any deficiencies, an additional 30 days are granted.

5. Result

If the result is positive, the card is printed and sent to the address via PTT (Turkish Post).

No, a short-term residence permit alone does not grant the right to work. You need to obtain a separate Work Permit to work. However, those who obtain a Work Permit do not need to obtain a separate residence permit.

If you are not present at the Provincial Immigration Administration on the day and time of your appointment, your application will be considered invalid. In this case, if your legal timeframe is still valid, you will need to schedule a new appointment.

You must have a passport valid for at least 60 days longer than the duration of your requested residence permit.

The legal processing time is 90 days. However, this period may vary depending on the workload. Generally, processes are completed within 1-3 months after file submission.
